There are some toys that you find that before you can get them are gone. This was me with the Whipspider Tentacle. A holy grail toy on my baby reviewer list long ago. When they left I was heartbroken, to be honest. No other tentacle seemed like it would do. Then Marco from Uberrime came along and made the Deep Diver. A tribute to a toy we thought lost to the annals of history.

Deep Diver

Taking the basic design and using reviews of the toy. He improved on some facets. Not only the texture but also making this toy safe to use in any manner. As the original did not have a large enough base to be safe for anal use. The Deep Diver comes in at 6.5 inches with 5.5 of it being insertable. It tapers from top to bottom starting at 4 inches for the head circumference and ending at 8.25 inches at the base. So this toy is a thick and heavy one.

Being handcrafted, no two are the same pattern. I have found that all Uberrime toys are made with the same quality. Oh, and did I mention that this one glows in the dark?

So What Did I Think?

Pulling the Deep Diver from the silk bag that all Uberrime toys come in, I was awestruck. Twisting it in my hand I followed the curve of the tentacle. My other hand tracing the suckers for a moment just enjoying the smooth texture. The splashes of red, green, and blue glittering slightly in the early afternoon light that spilled in from our living room. It was love at first sight.

Finally getting to use it, was a bit of a challenge for me. Only because it was a little hard to follow the curve. Normally all of the curved toys that I use curve like a C. While the Deep Diver twists and curves. Though finding the right way to move that curve for me. It was like my school girl tentacle dreams.

The texture of the suckers seemed to almost roll against the walls. As it moved over my g-spot it was a sensation I couldn’t quite get used to. Not in a bad way, more in a way that was like edging myself without having to think about it. It was only until I combined the Deep Diver with a wand on my clit that I came. No, not just a normal orgasm, gushed. Which honestly is not something many toys can make me do. I dozed off only barely turning off my wand. Only to wake up later the sun having gone down and the Deep Diver glowing gently next to me. I was smitten, dear readers. It was like finding a missed connection.

Just One Small Downside

I have written about my small hands before. Small hands mean big bases are hard to hold. Sometimes I overdo it. I grip it until I overwork my hand. That happened with the Deep Diver. Leaving me with a slightly sore and cramped hand. This was more human error, that error on the toys part. But I wanted to note it. So that readers who also have small hands are aware of this.

Overall Thoughts

The Deep Diver overall is a beautifully handcrafted toy. A rather wonderful tribute to sex toy history as well. For those who crave Gspot or Aspot stimulation along with texture, this is a must. I don’t quite find this a toy one should dive in head first with as a beginner. But everyone goes at different speeds.
